Open House @ Brickmania Toyworks

The Brickmania Toyworks is located in a repurposed warehouse the heart of the Northeast Minneapolis arts district. In addition to being the headquarters for Brickmania LLC, we are also the permanent host for the displays of the Greater Midwest Lego Train Club and Twin Cities Lego Train Club.

OPEN HOUSE

The open house features two large, running train displays and an always changing selection of guest displays. We also have a play area with bricks for building, a race car ramp, and other creative activities. Of course we also have a small store featuring a wide range of Lego products (from vintage to recent) and custom products from Brickmania, BrickArms and more.

NEW HOURS

First Thursday of every month 5PM-9PM

Second Saturday of every month 10AM-4PM

LOCATION

We are located in an old in a repurposed industrial complex known as the Thorp Building and CBC. Our address is:

IMPORTANT! We now have our own street entrance on the north side of the building. Although our address is on Central Ave NE, our outside entrance is on 18th, between Central and Jackson (look for our banner by the door).

DIRECTIONS + MAPS

From the south:

Take Interstate 35W northbound past downtown Minneapolis
Exit on Johnson Street
Turn left on 18th Ave NE (2nd stoplight after exit)
Proceed to Central Ave (next stop light)
We are 1/2 block past Central on your left

From the north:

Take Interstate 35W south toward downtown Minneapolis
Exit on Stinson Boulevard, take right turn at end of ramp.
Proceed past New Brighton Blvd, take immediate left on 18th Ave NE
Proceed to Central Ave (two stop lights)
We are 1/2 block past Central on your left

From downtown Minneapolis

Go north on 3rd Ave, cross bridge over Mississippi River
Proceed north on Central Ave (3rd Ave turns into Central)
Turn left of 18th Ave. • We are 1/2 block on your left

why must you be right downtown?! the traffic is bad enough on I-494 and i cant imagine what its like right downtown. not to mention so many roads and sidestreets and overall confusion of metropolises
