World War Bricks 2012 – June 15-18th, Wheeling, IL

Brickmania BrickArms GI Bricks

Brickmania, BrickArms and G.I. Brick to Host Off-Site Event During Brickworld (Chicago)

WHY:

We have recently been informed by the organizers that we could not be provided with a space large enough to safely set up a Brickmania and BrickArms booth at this year’s Chicago Brickworld LEGO® fan convention. Those present during previous years remember the long lines and severe crowding at our booth, as well as a total lack of space to properly display our products. Both BrickArms and Brickmania have previously sponsored Brickworld and our booths have been among the main attractions for the hardcore fans and public visitors alike. Not wanting to disappoint those who expected a visit to our booth to be part of the Brickworld experience, we have secured another location nearby to host our first ever joint Brickmania / BrickArms display and  sale.

WHO:

Brickmania, the first name in custom military LEGO kits, will be joined by  G.I. Brick, an authorized BrickArms reseller for this collaborative display and sale. BrickArms founder Will Chapman will also be on hand to show off new products, answer questions, and promises to bring at least one exclusive item that will only be available at this event.

WHAT:

We have a large banquet hall to display large LEGO models and dioramas that highlight products of BrickArms and Brickmania in their proper historical (or fictional) references. Brickmania founder Daniel Siskind will also bring many of his award-winning LEGO models to display, including an 8 foot long replica of the famous battleship USS Missouri plus scores of aircraft, armored vehicles and more. This will perhaps be be largest collection of LEGO militaria ever assembled for a single display. Of course there will also be products for sale at this event, including the complete line of Brickmania custom LEGO kits, a dazzling array of BrickArms custom molded weapons, custom minifigs, T-shirts (including exclusive designs to this event) and more.

WHEN:

Friday, June 15th: 5:00 pm – 9:00 pm
Saturday, June 16th: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm
Sunday, June 17th: 10:00 am to 6:00 pm

WHERE:

AMVETS post 66
700 McHenry Rd.
Wheeling, IL   60090
(2.5 miles from the Westin Hotel – look for the Patton tank parked in front!)

HOW MUCH?

Admission is free and there is plenty of free parking available. However, we will have donation boxes set up in the hall and all money raised will be donated to the AMVETS hall and/or other organizations that benefit military veterans and their families.

DISCLAIMER:

This event is not officially connected to, affiliated with any way, nor endorsed by the organizers of Brickworld and/or the LEGO company.
