The M42 was a tracked anti-aircraft weapon than mounted dual Bofors 40mm cannons on a hull based on the M41 Walker Bulldog Light Tank. The first units rolled off the assembly line in time to serve during the last days of the Korean War. The M42 was also issued to American troops in Vietnam, but without a serious threat from the North Vietnamese Air Firce, the “Duster” was mainly used against ground targets with devastating results.
