You requested it and we listened!  The first batch of the new and improved Universal Carrier II  kits are now available for pre-order. The kit comes in two configurations: A lower price kit with just the Carrier model, and a limited edition premium version that includes a 6-Pounder cannon, two British Army minifigs and a metal & enamel Brickmania pin. Both versions of the Universal Carrier kits are available now for pre-order now and are slated to ship on or around May 9th.

You may be asking “Why should I pre-order when it won’t ship until next week?” The answer is some kits are so popular that we expect the first batch to sell out immediately upon release. Pre-selling kits allows us ample time to allow our regular customers to place their order and know they will be able to get one of the first batch.  It also gives us additional time to get started on the next batch. In spite of our fancy web site we’re just a small operation and hand assemble every kit we sell!

The Battle Pack edition includes two British Army mini figures. These are equipped with custom cloth jackets made by MMCB Capes and include weapons and helmets from BrickArms.

The Battle Pack edition also includes a 6-Pounder artillery piece (almost identical to the US Army M1 57mm Anti-Tank gun). This is a slightly updated version of the now retired Brickmania kit. This gun is not available separately and nor will it be sold again once the Battle Packs are gone.
