Brickmania Retail Location Events
Announcement for March 16, 2019
In response to the unprecedented health emergency caused by the COVID-19 virus, Brickmania will be suspending all special events at Brickmania retail stores through the end of April 2020, or as is deemed to be safe by health officials. This precaution is being implemented to help slow the spread of the COVID-19 virus via social gatherings. We will otherwise remain open for business unless ordered to close by local health officials.
BRICKMANIACS! As BKM’s retail presence has expanded, so has the opportunity for fans to join us for some epic events!! Our current locations in Chantilly, Chicago, and Minneapolis all host multiple monthly events for you to enjoy.
Here’s a breakdown of the events available at ALL BKM locations…
BRICKMANIA MOC MONDAYS:
Brickmania’s MOC Mondays are a chance for brick-building enthusiasts to gather together and showcase their recent creations with other passionate builders! Join together at Brickmania retail locations the final Monday of each month from 5:00 – 7:00 PM to showcase your MOC, vote on other’s creations, and find out who’s MOC will be displayed in the Brickmania Winner’s Window!
Rules and deadlines for MOC Mondays:
- 5:00 entries accepted
- 6:30 entry deadline
- 6:30-6:45 builder’s brag
- 6:45 voting deadline
- 7:00 Winner announcement
MOC Entry Rules:
- Must be smaller or equal to 13×13″ (width and length) x12″ (tall)
- Can be a vehicle or building
- No Nazi symbols
- No excessive gore
- Must be an actual MOC (not just a standard BKM kit)
- Military or war themed (WWI to modern)
- No licensed material (Star Wars + Marvel etc)
- No sci-fi or fantasy
- Third party elements such as Brickmania, BrickArms and BrickWarrior accepted
- Limit one MOC per person (for the Winner’s Window)
TABLETOP TUESDAY:
The first Tuesday of each month is Tabletop Tuesday at Brickmania retail stores! Come play one of our epic board games, or bring a few of your own and spend the day playing games surrounded by awesome Brickmania creations!
ROLLING WEDNESDAY:
Let the dice determine your fate! Join us the fourth Wednesday of each month for military themed role-playing missions with your favorite minifigs! Our awesome store employees will walk you through an epic experience full of triumph and adversity as you attempt to complete that day’s mission. May the dice fall in your favor!
MICRO BRICK BATTLE OPEN GAME NIGHTS:
Micro Brick Battle Game Night is a chance for tabletop gamers of all ages to learn how to play our Micro Brick Battle Armored Combat System! Join fellow enthusiasts at any Brickmania retail location the third Thursday of each month from 5:00 – 8:00 PM to test out our newest scenarios and challenge your friends to the ultimate tabletop tank battle!
THE BRICKMANIAC’S CLUB:
Stop by all of our Brickmania retail stores from 1:00 – 4:00 PM on the second Sunday of each month and join fellow Brickmaniacs in discussing ongoing builds, upcoming projects, and all things Brickmania! This event is open to all ages and skill levels!
