Psycho Movie Scene – One of the new scenes for Brick-or-Treat 2012
JUST ADDED: The Brick-or-Treat display will now be open on Friday, October 26th from 6-9pm due to additional demand!
We’re having a special evening display at the the Brickmania Toyworks on the last two Saturdays of October. Highlights include a massive walk thru-LEGO display with halloween, monster, fantasy and popular sci-fi themes. Our play area, snack stand and toy bazaar will also be open in the adjacent space. Our participants this year include builders from Brickmania, Greater Midwest Lego Train Club, Twin Cities Lego Train Club, and Twinlug.
There will be some trick or treating in the display and kids are encouraged to wear costume. Bring your own loot bag (or basket) or decorate one on site.
The display will be open 6-9 pm on the evenings of October 20th and 27th, but the outside doors open at 5pm for the play area and bazaar. Admission will be $5 per individual or $20 per family (2 adults and up to 4 kids). A $1 discount will be available with a nonperishable food donation for local food shelves (max discount is $1 per person, or $6 off a family of six with six food items).
Last year we raised 325 pounds of food for Second Harvest Heartland. This year we are hoping to raise even more and have chosen Little Kitchen Food Shelf in NE Minneapolis to be the beneficiary of this year’s bounty.
Brickmania Toyworks is located in the historic Thorp Building and CBC in NE Minneapolis: 1620 Central Ave NE, Suite 170, Minneapolis, MN 55413. To obtain entry to the festivities, you must use the street entrance on 18th (Google: 909 18th ave ne Minneapolis MN 55418). Look for the banner and torches outside the building!
