The Molds Are Coming Along – Patience is Needed!
Greetings Brickmania Track Link™ supporters!
A quick update to let you know that the Track Link molds are still in the tooling phase and to request your patience as the project proceeds. The latest word from the mold maker is we are on the home stretch, but are still approximately 4 weeks from the molds being complete. There will inevitably be some tweaking to the molds before final production will commence. Therefore we’re looking at no product being shipped anytime in August and possibly not even in September.
My goal is to release the absolute best product possible and exceed the level of quality you would expect from a Brickmania product. Therefore I will not lean on the mold makers to speed up the process or cut corners for the sake of saving time. Trust me the wait is just as excruciating for me as it is for you. We all just have to be patient and let the manufacturing process run its course.
I am taking steps to make sure that Brickmania is ready to deliver the backer rewards as soon as the tracks are done. We have already invested a great deal of time preparing our reward obligations. The next step will be to finalize all of the remaining Backer-Kit orders, so we can obtain the last of the parts needed for the exclusive kits. I plan to have this finished up over the next day or two. Assembly of the kits will commence immediately and will be ready to drop in the Track Links as soon as they arrive from the injection molders. All rewards will be shipped out at the same time, so that everyone can savor the same moment of triumph together.
