Created from the need to give German paratroopers a compact weapon that could double as a shoulder rifle and light machine gun, the FG-42 featured a revolutionary side-mounted magazine that allowed the trigger mechanism to be placed farther forward than with bottom-feed magazines. It also featured fitted rails on the receivers making it possible to mount optical sights, a component still found on modern rifles today.
Brickmania’s Perfect Caliber™BrickArms® FG-42 features a UV printed woodgrain design on the foregrip, bakelite stock, blue steel receiver, and mounted sight printed on a black BrickArms® FG-42.
