Many of you already follow our social media feeds so will have seen this already, but here is a shot of tomorrow’s highly anticipated Preorder, the Aichi D3A1 “Val” Dive Bomber. This particular prototype is sitting in the design room, before the first test build and well beyond the pile of brick part of the process. As we head into the preorder, these sets are already on their way toward that final step and into the hands of our fantastic production team. It’s been a while since we have returned to World War II era kits, and we are very excited to share what we’ve been working on with the fans.
Every step of the process, from that pile to this prototype takes enormous attention to detail, effort and passes through the hands of many different people and several departments to get to your doorstep. We are so proud of your support and the appreciation that the fans have for all the hard work that goes into getting an excellent kit like this off the deck.
