Brickmania Store Now Open at Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, IL
The Brickmania Team opened our second retail store last week at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg, IL. This new location is our biggest store yet and features a great assortment Brickmania building kits and quality aftermarket minifigure accessories, printed elements, light effects, decals, books, and gear for the LEGO® brick building enthusiast. Our growing roster of featured brands include Brickmania, BrickArms, Citizen Brick, EclipseGRAFX, No Starch Press, and others joining us each week. The staff at the Woodfield Mall are experienced builders and are ready to answer your questions. We’re open nearly every day, so come on down and check out the store and the displays.

World War Brick Hartford: July 23-24, 2016
World War Brick is a gathering of hobbyists and fans dedicated to modeling historical and military-related scenes, vehicles, and weaponry using LEGO® brand bricks and premium aftermarket accessories. At WWB we provide ample space for activities, displays, collaborations and of course products for sale from Brickmania, BrickArms, GI Brick and other top-tier custom vendors who seek to expand and enrich the building experience.
World War Brick – Hartford, CT: July 23-24: at the Radisson Hotel Cromwell, located near Hartford Connecticut and an easy distance from all points in the Northeast.

About the Panzer III
Designed to be Germany’s tanks for fighting other tanks, the Panzer III saw it’s successful battlefield debut during the invasion of Poland. It proved to be a reliable and wining design and was continually upgraded and refined throughout the war. The Panzer III’s hull and chassis was also used to create the highly successful series of low-profile StuG III aussault guns and tank destroyers.
The Panzer III is one of Brickmania’s most popular kits and we are constantly making upgrades and improvements. This edition incorporates a lot of upgrades over the previously more austere version. There are lots of nice “extra” features such the new 1.5 wide Brickmania Track Links, a BrickArms MG-34 on the anti-aircraft mount (in addition to the one in the hull), accessible interior spaces (upper and lower hull sections separate to reveal the interior), and more.

BrickArms MG 08/15 Overmolded Edition Available Again!
The MG08/15 is a man-portable version of the famous German Machinengewehr 08 warter-cooled machine gun of World War I. It was destringuished by it’s wooden stock, pistol grip and reduced size of the receiver housing and water sleeve diameter.
The BrickAms MG08/15 is double overmolded using three colors of ABS plastic (black, gunmetal and brown) and comes in a handsome jewel box display case. It was released at World War Brick Anaheim and Brickmania is priviliged to be the exclusive world-wide seller of the few left over examples.
This limited edition weapon is individually injection molded by Will Chapman and comes with a matching custom-printed BrickArms crate. This “prototype” weapon is made using molds made by Will from solid blocks of aluminum stock. These are not the big production molds used for mass production and do not stand up to many impressions before they become unusable. Prototypes weapons are often the “trial” versions of possible future releases, which sometimes vary greatly from the initital runs.

Brickmania Returns to BrickWorld Chicago – June 18-19!
Brickmania is a proud sponsor of Brickworld Chicago, one of the largest LEGO® fan conventions in North America. It is taking place this weekend at the Renaissance Hotel & Convention Center in Schaumburg, IL. This year’s event occupies the entire 100,000 SF convention center and features works from hundreds of LEGO artists and enthusiasts from across the country. The public are welcome to attend on Saturday, June 18 (10am to 4pm) and Sunday, June 19 (1-am to 3pm). Tickets are available here.
The Brickmania team are bringing a massive Normandy landing diorama featuring a 10-foot Landing Ship Tank, German fortifications, dozens of WW2 vehicles, and hundreds of custom mini figures. Brickmania Brings WW2 in LEGO to the Evansville Museum
WW2 in LEGO
Brickmania will be returning to the Evansville Museum of Arts, History & Science (Evansville, IN) with a WW2 focused program. The display runs Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19th. Admission is $5 for members and $10 for non-members.
The Brickmania team will have the following mega builds on display:
- The 25+ feet long Battleship USS Missouri with the Japanese surrender ceremony
- USS Nicholas, a World War 2 US Navy destroyer
- Brandenburg Gate diorama
- Battle of the Bulge display
- WW2 Mosaic Portraits
Brickmania will have a small store plus additional displays to set up if space permits. Be sure to pick up a complimentary June issue of our Builder ‘Zine! Admission includes access to the museum’s permanent exhibits. They are also showing The LEGO Movie in the Koch Immersive Theater all weekend!
