Brickmania Toyworks to host Obscura Day Party
On April 9th, the Brickmania Toyworks, will be hosting an adult-oriented evening event to celebrate Obscura Day 2011 in Minneapolis. This event is being organized by the folks behind Atlas Obscura, a compendium of the world’s wonders, curiosities, and esoterica. The party kicks off at 7pm and will wind down at 11. Twin Cities Iron Bartendress Jasmine Poland will be crafting libations featuring Hendricks Gin, world-wide sponsore of Obscura Day. The GMLTC and TCLTC Lego train displays will be powered up and running, plus there will be music, hors d’oeuvres, and plenty of Lego bricks for your own building adventure (without having to share with your offspring). This 21+ event is free but you must RSVP because space is limited.
