Brickmania Displays This Weekend at the VMMV Open House
Brickmania will be setting up a massive display this weekend at the “Tank Farm” in Nokesville, VA. This is part of the annual VMMV / NMAW Open House—a gathering featuring a massive collection of restored historic military vehicles, period reenactors, historic exhibits and more.
We will be set up in this large hanger building where they normally store part of their vintage armor collection, sharing the space with several other historic military displays (not made from LEGO). We plan to bring the 5 x 24′ Peleliu invasion diorama, the Vietnam War diorama, and at least 50 different armored vehicles and aircraft.
The open house takes place at the “Tank Farm” 13906 Aden Road, Nokesville, Virginia 20181 on August 17th and 18th from 10am to 4pm. There will be dozens of military vehicles on display, along with exhibits by living history units, artifact collections and more (click this link for the full event schedule). Admission is a suggested minimum donation of $10 per adult and kids are free. Note: due to permitting restrictions, Brickmania will not have any items for sale at this event. We will have some special web coupons available for those who visit our displays.
