DShK Model 1938 Heavy Machine Gun Mini Kit

DShK

The DShK was the Soviet Union’s main heavy machine gun during World War II, firing a 12.7mm cartridge comparable to the Browning M2 .50 caliber. The gun was mass produced starting in 1938 and was issued to Soviet infantry units on a wheeled mounting equipped with armor plate shield. This mount encorporated a tripod base that allowed the weapon to be coverted to anti-aircraft use, after removing the wheels and the shield. A modernized version (DShM) is still in use today and can be seen on a variety of Russian armored vehicles.

  1. The model is very cool! She has good detail despite the scale. Very similar to the original! By the way, DSHK 30 years ago, replaced by the NSV-12,7. Sorry for my English:( I from Russia
