USS Missouri – Battleship
The USS Missouri is one of the most famous American battleships (second only to the USS Arizona). The Missouri was ordered in 1940 and commissioned in 1944. She fought in the battles for Iwo Jima and Okinawa during World War II. The USS Missouri is famous for holding the surrender ceremony of the Japanese Government on it’s deck, September 2nd 1945. After the Korean war the USS Missouri was retired from active service. USS Missouri along with three other Iowa Class Battleships were reactivated and extensively modernized. The USS Missouri participated in The Gulf War in 1991 providing tomahawk missile and naval gunfire support to Operation Desert storm. This 1/700th scale replica uses 100% authentic LEGO elements and is perfect for display on desks or mantles. The USS Missouri is in the same scale as Brickmania’s USS North Carolina kit.

The M4A2 was a diesel powered variant of the famous M4 Sherman tank, used exclusively by the US Marines during World War II. Armed with a 75mm cannon, the Sherman was the ideal close-up fire support platform, as the Marines dug out entrenched defenders in their island-hopping campaign towards victory against Japan. The US Marines fitted their Sherman tanks with removable fording kits for the amphibious landings that each island assault would require. In this case we have fitted the M4A2 with the unique drum-style fording kits used in the US Marines’ 3rd Tank Battalion. Also included in the kit is a complete set of stickers based on tanks from the Iwo Jima and Tarawa campaigns, allowing you to customize the look of your kit.
