Iconic Minneapolis Night Club Reimagined in LEGO by Brickmania

Brickmania has worked with downtown Minneapolis nightclub First Avenue to design a scale model of the famous venue made from LEGO® parts. The model was designed by Brickmania founder, Daniel Siskind and includes 98 new authentic LEGO® parts, custom printed name tiles and a high-quality vinyl sticker sheet, including the iconic gold “Prince” star, to add detail to the model. Many Brickmania employees have spent nights enjoying some of their favorite musical acts and events at First Avenue, and we are excited to create a model of this iconic venue.

This building kit is currently only available by preorder from First Avenue. You can order it here: http://first-avenue.com/buy/catalog/product/brickmania The models are expected to start shipping Mid-November.

This is not a LEGO® Product. LEGO is a trademark of the LEGO® Group, which does not sponsor, authorize or endorse this product.

Brickmania is currently working on building a large minifigure scale display of the First Avenue venue which will be on display at our upcoming Brickmania Toyworks LEGO Fan Expos in our Northeast Minneapolis Headquarters. You will be able to see it yourself starting the weekend after Thanksgiving and continuing every Saturday and Sunday through the end of the year.

Brickmania Toyworks is an exposition of LEGO displays created by LEGO fans including large displays from Brickmania, The Greater Midwest LEGO Train Club (GMLTC), Twin Cities LEGO Train Club (TCLTC), TwinLUG (An adult LEGO User Group) and Jesse’s Brick Galaxy. You can also see the Guinness Book of World Record holding World’s Largest Ball Contraption designed by Austin Granger.

Tickets will be available for entry times of 10:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 2:00 pm Saturdays, and 12:00 pm and 2:00 pm Sundays. Advance discount tickets to Brickmania Toyworks will be available starting Monday, November 13th and will be available to order on the Brickmania website www.brickmania.com and in the Brickmania retail store at the Mall of America.

Pick up one of the First Avenue kits before they sell out, and we hope to see you at Brickmania Toyworks this holiday season!
