The general purpose scout car (JEEP) was designed to be an agile,light weight multi-use vehicle to be used by the new motorized US Army forces during World War II. The JEEP’s performance and reputation was legendary as this car was the adopted light weight vehicle by both Allied and Axis armies.

Restock: Panzer IV L/70
The Panzer IV/L70 was the final version of the Jagdpanzer IV series of tank destroyers, armed with the Panther’s deadly 7.5cm L/70 gun. The extra long barrel and extremely thick frontal armor necessitated solid steel road wheels on the first two bogies, replacing the usual rubber tires. This vehicle was issued to self-propelled tank destroyer units during the final months of the war. The three-tone camouflage scheme is typical of what would be seen on the Western Front in late 1944.

Restock: M1A1 75mm Howitzer on M7 Carriage
Designed shortly after World War I to replace existing light artillery pieces, the M1 75mm “pack” howitzer was a small artillery piece that could be broken down and transported by pack horses or mules. Not mass produced until the outbreak of World War II, several design improvements were added in 1940, with the new gun designated the M1A1 on M8 Carriage (replacing the original wooden-wheeled gun carriage). The lightweight field gun was mainly used to equip US Army airborne artillery battalions, but was also adopted for use by the US Marine Corps for its campaigns in the Pacific. While not as powerful as the more widely used 105mm howitzers, its small size made it more versatile and easier to transport over rough terrain.

Restock: M4 Sherman
The M4 Sherman was the workhorse medium tank of US and western Allied forces during World War II. Armed with a multi-purpose 75mm gun that could fire both high-explosive and anti-tank rounds, it ruled the battlefield when first introduced. Even though the Sherman would later prove inferior in firepower and armor to heavier German Panther and Tiger Tanks, it’s superior mobility, reliability and ease of manufacture proved to be a wartime winner.

About the SdKfz 251 ausf D
The SdKfz 251 was Germany’s most versatile and widely used armored halftrack vehicle of World War II, often referred to as the “Hanomag” after the manufacturer’s name. The SdKfz 251 was used as the base model for more than 20 specialized vehicles, and underwent several refinements throughout production history. The Ausf D model was the final late-war version, notable for it’s boxy design that helped simplify the manufacturing process.
About the Pak 40
The Pak 40 was designed shortly before the outbreak of World War II, but the project was shelved due to the success of the German army in the early stages of the war. When more heavily armored tanks were encountered in Russia, Pak 40 production was immediately ordered. The Pak 40 made its battlefield debut during the battle for Kharkov in May 1942. the PaK 40 was bigger and more powerful than its predecessors in every aspect, although it still had a remarkably low silhouette, making it easy to conceal despite of its increased size. The Pak 40 could defeat the armor of all but the heaviest Allied tanks up until the end of the war.
Ambush Camouflage Edition
We have reproduced and updated these two classic Brickmania models in a special tri-tone “Ambush Camouflage” color scheme. This is typical of a late war pattern of both the Eastern and Western fronts from 1944 through the end of the war. this makes for a slightly more expensive model, but the stunning results are worth it.

It is December, and Brickmania has decided to run another hashtag social media giveaway event for the entire month! We often receive questions about how it works, and have decided to make a FAQ to answer general questions.
How do I enter the giveaway?
- On Facebook, share one of our posts to your timeline and insert the hashtag #bricksofbastogne into the post. Alternatively, make a post on your timeline/wall with the hashtag #bricksofbastogne. Note: Unless your Facebook account is set to public, we cannot see a private post on your wall.
- On Twitter, tweet using the hashtag #bricksofbastogne. Alternatively, retweet one of our posts and use the hashtag #bricksofbastogne in your share.
- On Instagram, make a new image or take a picture and use the hashtag #bricksofbastogne. Note, unless your profile/image is public, the post cannot be seen by anyone but you!
Can I enter more than once?
- Yes, you can enter as many times as you like! It can raise the chance of becoming that week’s winner.
What do I get if I win? How will I know if I won?
- Each week, Brickmania staff will compile a list of everyone who has entered to that point in the month (it is retroactive, so if you entered on December 3rd, later in the month, it will still count)
- A winner will be selected for each week randomly from one of the three social media networks we are doing the giveaway on. The winner will be contacted through that platform’s Direct Messaging system (it is important that if you want to enter, make sure you have a way to directly communicate with us)
- When the winner is selected, they will recieve a kit (new or restock), which will be sent through the mail straight to their address!
- Upon selecting a winner, Brickmania staff will produce one post per social media platform announcing the winner to the world!

Membership will cost $50.00 and run on a calendar year beginning January 1st and ending December 31st of the same year. Membership cards and patch will be mailed 1-2 weeks following registration deadline and may be shipped separately from other items in your order. Your membership card must be shown to receive your 10% discount at events and Brickmania Toyworks Open House. You must have a registered account at Brickmania.com and be signed in to see discounted prices. If you do not have an account, one will be assigned to the email used to place the order. We encourage (but do not require) wearing your Brickmania Elite Patches during group activities. We may ask to see your membership card to participate in some activities. By joining the Brickmania Elite, you authorize Brickmania to send you emails with our current news, announcements and deals. Brickmania reserves the right to end this program at anytime.
