Brickmania’s Barbarossa 41 Theme Launches with Limited Edition Battle Pack + Free Shirt Offer Thru 9/18
On June 22, 1941, Adolph Hitler’s top secret invasion of the Soviet Union was launched. The invasion, codenamed Operation Barbarossa, was the largest military operation ever attempted. A combined force of over 3.9 million men from Germany and other Axis countries achieved total surprise and quickly overwhelmed the frontier defenses of the Soviet Union. Spearheaded by lightining fast advances of the elite Panzer forces, the invaders conquored Soviet territory at an astonishing rate, and would find themselves at the very gates of Leningrad and Moscow by early December. The onset of the harsh Russian winter and Soviet reinforcements from the east combined to halt operation Barbarossa in its tracks and eventually result in the total defeat of the Axis nations over the next four long and bloody years.
Brickmania has adopted the name “Barbarossa 41” to identify a who new series World War II themed kits based on the early years of World War II in Europe, particularly on the Eastern Front. To launch the series we are combining the first two tank kits into a special Battle Pack. The kits are the German Panzer II and the Soviet T-26, both prominently participating in the opening months of the conflict. The pack also includes an exclusive Soviet 53-K 45 mm Anti Tank Gun, whose crews played a heroic role in slowing down the Axis advance. And finally there are three bonus minifigs, including commanders for the tanks and a Soviet soldier.

Both tank model features fully functioning articulated tracks, a fully rotating turret with opening commander’s hatch and main guns which can be elevated and depressed. The 53-K 45mm Anti-Tank Gun can be posed in either the firing or traveling mode the gun can be posed a different elevations. The models themselves are made of new-condition LEGO bricks and compatable weapons from BrickArms. This kit comes disassembled and includes completed printed building instructions, a signed certificate of authenticity, and is packaged in a sealed box.
Battle Pack Edition:
Both of the tanks will eventually be sold as individual kits, but nuying them in the battle pack will get you the following bonus items:
- Soviet 53-K 45mm Anti-Tank Gun model
- Three minifigs: two tank commanders and a Soviet soldier.

A much requested new batch of the tan colored Durabuilder Humvees have begun rolling of the assembly line and are available to order now. This model features room inside for four minfigs (sold separately), has six opening doors, and is armed with a BrickArms Combat LMG (aka M249 SAW). This a Durabuilder kit, which means it has sturdy construction is and designed ffor every day play.

M1A1 Abrams Kits Available for Pre-Order (With Bonus Minifig!)
Brickmania is pleased to announce (at long last) that we are releasing the much-requested and long-anticipated M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank kit available in both dark gray and tan versions. (click either image to go to order page)
The M1A1 Abrams was adopted as the Main Battle Tank for US ground forces in the early 1980’s. Being the culmination of four decades of tank research, the Abrams represents a quantum leap forward in tank design: It is highly mobile, has an incredibly robust armor package, and packs a lethal punch that is deadly effective both day and night. The M1A1 version of the Abrams fought in this configuration for Operation Desert Storm in 1991.

This brickmania kit features two opening hatches in the turret, fully rotating turret with posable main gun, articulated LEGO tracks and realistic suspension.It also includes a tank commander minifig plus two BrickArms machine guns (including a M2HB customized by Brickmania).
This is a mid-grade Brickmania kit that favors playability and sturdiness over the extreme details of our premium grade kits. We feel that adding your own details is an important part of the building experience and have intentionally left this out. If it were not for the large size of this model (and bigger price tag) we would consider this a Durabuilder kit.
All brickmania kits are made from new condition LEGO Bricks and come shipped unassembled with printed, full color-building instructions. Each kit also includes a certificate of authenticiy signed by the designer and comes packed in a sealed box.
This kit is available in both dark gray (BKM807) and tan (BKM808).
PREORDER BONUS!
The kits will normally be shipped only with the tank commander minifig. As a special pre-order bonus, we will include a second gunner minifig with all kits paid by August 28th, 2012.
