Limited Edition New Release: Panzer IV/L70 Tank Destroyer
The Panzer IV/L70 was the final version of the Jagdpanzer IV series of tank destroyers, armed with the Panther’s deadly 7.5cm L/70 gun. The extra long barrel and extremely thick frontal armor necessitated solid steel road wheels on the first two bogies, replacing the usual rubber tires. This vehicle was issued to self-propelled tank destroyer units during the final months of the war. The three-tone camouflage scheme is typical of that would be seen on the Western Front in late 1944. Due to limited parts availability, production of this kit will happen in reduced numbers.
