Time Lapse of the USS Missouri Build

Today is the 70th Anniversary of the End of the Pacific War.

Stop by the Brickmania Mall of America store this week and share a bit of history. You will see our 26 foot replica of the USS Missouri, made with LEGO elements.  World War II officially came to an end on September 2, 1945 (70 years ago today) when Japanese Foreign Minister Mamoru Shigemitsu signed the Instrument of Surrender on behalf of the Japanese Government. The ceremony took place on the deck of the USS Missouri in Tokyo Bay. Celebrate the 70th anniversary of Victory in Japan Day and see history being made at the Mall of America today!

  1. How many bricks is this constructed with? I saw in a Beyond the Brick video there was estimated to be 200k in just grey tiles for the deck. I was wondering if there was a estimate on the total amount used in the build? Awesome build! Love it!
