About the Panzer 38(t) – German Light Tank:
A highly durable and easy to maintain tank, the Panzer 38(t) first saw action in 1939 and was initially very effective and popular. However, during Operation Barbarossa the 6th, 7th, 8th, 12th, 19th and 20th Panzer Divisions met their match against the Soviet T-34s, and by 1942 had been repurposed for reconnaissance and defensive roles.

About the TKS – Polish Tankette:
First entering production in 1934, the TKS was based off of the TK3 and featured an upgraded engine and improved armor and firepower over its predecessors, but it was also slower and heavier. While most of the Polish TKS tankettes were attached to infantry units, they also served in independent companies of 13, with a total of 575 TK and TKS tankettes making up the majority of the Polish armored fighting vehicles before the start of WWII. Their most famous display in combat came at the hands of Polish Commander Edmund Roman Orlik who registered 13 tank kills in three engagements against invading German forces.
Specifications:
Designed in brick-built camo, with an opening top hatch and smooth rolling tracks, the TKS Polish Tankette includes three different possible model configurations. Customize your build by rotating between a Hotchkiss machine gun, 20mm cannon, or both using the optional side machine gun mount, all included in this Brickmania kit.

About the M4 Sherman:
Perhaps the best known Allied tank during World War II, the M4 Sherman was designed to replace the M3 Lee. Named for the eccentric Union General William T. Sherman, the Sherman medium tank was mass produced to help offset better-armed German tanks such as the Tiger and Panther. The American war machine produced over 50,000 Sherman tanks between 1941 and 1945.
The Sherman chassis was used for several dozen different variants. Among these variants, several were specialized for mine clearance, rocket battery, or as a self-propelled howitzer. The standard M4 Sherman was equipped with a Continental R975 gasoline-powered engine and could achieve a top speed of 21 miles per hour. Stock Sherman examples were armed with two machine guns and a 75mm cannon, the Sherman could handle all but the heaviest German tanks. Although they struggled against German armor, the Allies found success in overwhelming the slower German tanks by often deploying five or more Sherman tanks against the same target.
The Sherman was also deployed during the Korean War but was eventually replaced by the M46 Patton.

The M3A1 was the most advanced version of the M3 half track family of personnel carriers with 40,000 of all types manufactured during World War II.
