About the Rolls-Royce Armored Car:
The Rolls-Royce Armored Car was a British vehicle developed in 1914 and used in WWI and the early parts of WWII. Six RNAS Rolls-Royce squadrons were formed of 12 vehicles each – one going to France, and one to Africa to fight German colonies. They were poorly suited to the muddy trench filled battlefields of the Western Front, but were able to operate in the Near East.
They were also used by the Turkish forces and seen by Lawrence of Arabia as more valuable than rubies – helping to win his revolt in the desert. At the outbreak of WWII, 76 vehicles were still in service. They were used during the operation of Western Desert in Iraq and Syria. By the end of 1941, they were withdrawn from frontline service as more modern armored vehicles became available.

We have just finished a restock of the T-34! Get this popular kit now.
Developed in great secrecy, the T-34 was Russia’s answer to the growing military threat of Germany in the 1930s. Incorporating many new and innovative features, such as the Christie suspension system and sloping armor, its success was considered a gamble by the Communist Party bosses. While the Soviet Union already had a heavy tank series in production (KV series), the T-34 program was given the go ahead. Stalin’s rationale was that the designers could always be executed if the project failed. While not in full production when Hitler unleashed Operation Barbarossa against the Soviet Union, the appearance of the T-34 stunned the German High Command. Not only was the T-34 able to withstand almost anything the Germans could throw at it, but its 76mm gun could easily knock out both Panzer IIIs and IVs, then the heaviest tanks in the German arsenal.

After ~a year of being out of stock, we have restocked the famous QF 25-Pounder kit! Get yours today.
The QF (“Quick Firing”) 25-Pounder was the standard British field gun of World War II and was developed to correct deficiencies found in British field pieces during the First World War. Design improvements included a new carriage with armored shield and built-in platform that allowed quick repositioning of the gun. The 25 Pounder could be fired at a high angle like a traditional howitzer, but could also be direct fired against attacking infantry and armored vehicles. The 25 Pounder was the standard field gun of all British and Commonwealth units during World War II and was not complete phased out of service until the 1970s.

About the Mi-24 Hind Attack Helicopter
The Mi-24 “Hind” is a large helicopter gunship, attack helicopter and a low capacity troop transport with room for up to eight passengers. Primary usage and upkeep of the Hind is done by the Soviet/Russian Air Force, and more than 30 other nations have access to them. Soviet pilots often know the hind as the “flying tank”, due to its immense armor protection. To date, at least 2,300 units have been produced.
The core Hind was originally derived from the Mii Mi-8, or “Hip”, which had two top-mounted turbo shaft engines driving a mid-mounted 17.3 m five-blade main rotor and a three-blade tail rotor. The engine configuration gave the aircraft distinctive double air intake. The Mi-24 fuselage is heavily armored and can even resist impacts from 12.7 mm rounds from all angles. Ballistic-resistant windscreens and a titanium-armored tub protect the cockpit. The record-setting speed that the “Hind” can reach is 206.7 mph – designed for speed and mobility.
The “Hind” has seen active combat in numerous wars, including Cambodian-Vietnamese war, Soviet war in Afghanistan, Iran/Iraq war, Persian Gulf war, and modern middle-eastern conflicts.
