the initial batches sold out in record time and we’re pleased to announce new batches of the following are now ready:
PaK 36 3.7cm Anti-Tank Gun
The standard anti-tank weapon used by the German Army at the beginning of World War II. It’s low profile and high velocity armor-piercing shell made this the ideal weapon for knocking out just about anything on the battle field at that time. Developments in Soviet armor would make this gun obsolute within the first year of the war in Russia.
M1927 76mm Regimental Gun (Early Production)
The M1927 was used by nearly every Soviet infantry and cavalry regiment before and during World War II. Significant design changes to the carriage we implemented during a program to replace guns lost early in the war, giving the gun a new designation of M1943. Captured guns M1927s were also widely used German and Finnish armies. We are introducing a second version of this kit with the original production spoked wheels, which by far represents the most prototypical example of the M1927.
Flak 38 2cm Automatic Cannon
The FlaK 38 was 2cm automatic cannon used by German anti-aircraft units througout World War II. While designed for anti-aircraft use, its high rate of fire proved deadly against enemy infantry and thin-skinned vehicles. The FlaK 38 made prominant appearances in the movies Saving Private Ryan and Red Tails.
Nebelwerferfer 41 Rocket Launcher
A 1/35 scale model of the Nebelwerfer 41 German mobile rocket launcher (aka “Screaming Mimi” to Allied troops). This Brickmania custom kit contains 59 new-condition lego bricks plus full color building instructions.
The Greater Midwest Lego Train Club is the grandfather of the AFOL movement and has been a long0time supporter of Brickmania. For the last few years they have released a series of custom holiday ornaments to help support their activities and right now we have all five in stock for immediate purchase. These are all limited edition and some of them are on the verge of extinction. Featured above is a re-release of their first ornament, now upgraded to a snappy black and dark red color scheme. The whole selection of ornaments can be found HERE. Get ’em while you can.
We’ve delved into the darkest recesses of the Brickmania warehouse and assembled a stack of what we believe to be the “last of their” kind Brickmania kits. This means we have 1 or 2 of the following kits available on a first-come, first served basis. All of them are also 15% off the list price when you use coupon code VETSDAY2012 during checkout (thru November 12). This is for sure the last opportunity to buy any of these kits from Brickmania, because they have all been discontinued, and prices will certainly be higher on the after market.

Normally we start our Veterans Day sale a week in advance of the holiday, but this year we’re letting you have the deal a couple days early to coincide with today’s new releases.. From now through November 12th, take 15% off any order of $10 or more using coupon code VETSDAY2012 during checkout. The coupon is good for any product in the store but cannot be combined with other coupons or applied to prior purchases.
Veterans Day is traditionally the kick-off of the holiday crazies at Brickmania and this will be the last store-wide coupon issued this year. While our shelves are currently stocked to capacity, we know from experience that we will not be able to keep up production as stuff sells out over the next few weeks. Since our kits are hand assembled by real human beings the old fashioned way, building up to this point has been a months long processes. Starting our holiday season with the Veterans Day sale is our way of rewarding those who make their gift purchases early. This helps us keep orders moving in a timely fashion and gives our staff a fighting chance to keep up. Thanks in advance.
The Panzer IV was the work-horse of the German armored forces during World War II, saw action all fronts, and was continually upgraded throughout the war. The Ausf E model is representative of Panzer IVs that would have participated in the opening months of the invasion of the Soviet Union. Designed primarily as an infantry support tank, the Ausf E model was armed with a formidable 75mm howitzer, capable of lobbing a high explosive shell against stubborn fortifications, enemy infantry concentrations and other obstacles for the Blitzkrieg.

The Gaz AA was one product of a joint venture between Ford Motors and the Soviet government to produce licensed copies of Ford trucks in the Soviet Union. Production of the Gaz AA began in 1931, based on the 1929 pattern Ford model AA truck, and would continue well into the 1950’s. Over 100,000 of them were in Soviet military service at the outbreak of World War II and were used in as many roles as can be imagined. This kit is configured as the standard utility truck and can be used “as-is” for an artillery prime mover, supply hauler and more. With your own bricks it can be converted to an ambulance, field kitchen, mobile anti-aircraft platform, or even a heavy duty Gaza AAA model (by adding another rear axle and wheels).

The KV-1 Heavy Tank was developed by the Soviet Union shortly before the outbreak of World War II. Its intended purpose was to help infantry units blast their way through entrenched enemy positions. Its heavy armor and powerful 76mm gun were chosen based on lessons learned in Spanish Civil War, where tanks on both sides were found to be woefully lacking in both armor and armament. Manufacture of the KV-1 began in secret and about 500 were available to the Red Army at the start of Operation Barbarossa . The appearance of the KV-1 on the battlefield came as a shock to the German army commanders, whose own tanks could not knock out the heavily armored KV-1 except for a point blank shot to the rear of the hull. The KV-1s design emphasis was placed on heavy armor protection, but this came at great expense to mobility. While some KV-1s were used defensively to great affect in the early stages of the war, large number wiped out during the rapid-paced “Blitzkrieg” tactics of the highly mobile German panzertruppen. Severe losses were as much to blame on the KV-1s relative immobility as well as the inexperience of Soviet junior officers corps.
There were several variations of the KV-1 tank, including the KV-2 assault gun: this was a KV-1 tank hull armed with a 152mm howitzer mounted in a massive slab-sided turret. The KV-2 proved to be an awkward design and most of the 250 built in 1938-39 were later converted to KV-1s. Later KV-1s wpould receive increased armor protection to counter improved German weapons. There was also a number of KV-1s armed with a more powerful 85mm gun in response to the heavier armor of the Tiger and Panther tanks. Over 5000 KV-1s tanks would be built before the end of the war and they proved to be a formidable weapon system when used in its intended infantry support role. The KV-1 hull was additionally used as a basis for the Su-152 heavy assault gun, which was a more successful turretless replacement for the KV-2, and was produced from late 1942 through the end of the war. The KV-1s further development eventually evolved into the legendary JS-2 and JS-3 tanks series of heavy tanks.
